I have many people to thank for the help in following my dream of creating Worth Healing.
My sister, Mary, brother Frank, and my sister in law Dr. Sally Gafford (who is a premier therapist) have supported me at every turn. My friends both old and new who know me sometimes better than I know myself, (Kaps, Margo, Gwen and Vicki) and the hundreds of clients and friends who have sought my counsel financially or emotionally for the past 35 years.
My business partner of 25 years, Dirk Calvin, has been infinitely supportive of my interests and this endeavor. Mabry-Calvin has taught both of us many of the lessons that have inspired Worth Healing. We have always been able to embrace new endeavors for each other and few business partnerships last as long as ours. The length of our partnership is a result of respect, understanding of the investment arena and a common goal to always do the best for our clients. This will not change. I am very fortunate to have found a smart business partner who is honest and filled with integrity. We are polar opposites in many ways, but we have never disagreed about doing the right thing for our clients and each other. Mabry-Calvin will continue as we pursue our collective and individual passions.
The most important person in my life is my husband George who has always encouraged my dreams and adventures. George is supportive, loving, honest, intuitive, brilliant, funny and a visionary. His love and support has led us to survive good times and bad! The lessons I have learned from George led me to realize that we are all Worth Healing. Thirty seven years of marriage sounds like a long time to most people, but every day with George is new and fresh and I realize how lucky I am. George should seriously be reviewed for sainthood as I am somewhat of a whirling dervish and he provides a calm, gentle and non-judgmental space for me and does have the patience of a saint. George is also one of the funniest and kindest people I know and we share a love of dogs, cats, horses and people.
